Here for sale is the MD's, Wifes pride and joy, a 2004 Touareg TDI. We have owned this for nearly 5 years and it has been faultless, it has provided comfort and security which you would struggle to find in most other cars. It drives perfectly and as far as we aere aware it has no known faults at all. We have had the vehicle serviced every 12 months since we have owned it, meaning it has only done around 5000 - 9000 miles between services, which is a lot less than most of the Touaregs out there which run the long life variable service plan. Technically it can go for upto 20000 miles and 2 years between services, but we prefer the piece of mind that the vehicle is kept in the best possible condition. It has had recent new brakes and wants for nothing. If the asking price is met we will have the vehicle serviced and MOT'd for the new owner before collection, it is also taxed until June next year so that should mean a fair period of hassle free motoring!

The vehicle has covered 83000 miles.

We have also fitted some 22" wheels, which set the car of lovely and keeps it looking upto date. We had the wheels fitted as soon as we got the car and in the 25k miles or so we have covered we have only had to fit 2 new tyres, they just dont seem to wear and provide excellent road holding as they are Yokohama and not some cheap budget brand. The wheels were a premium brand aswell, as we are not fans of poor quality wheels. We have had them refurbished so they look brand new, they cost £1700 when originally bought! We do have the standard wheels for the car, which are the 17" O.E wheels, we could refit these if the new buyer prefered?

The only other upgrades we have made are the addition of the Genuine VW Roof Bar, which wasnt cheap, and some Cayanne exhaust tail pipe tips, which set the rear of the Touareg off perfectly, this is a really nice and not OTT Touareg to look at and it will be sorely missed. The only reason we are selling is the MD's Wife now has an Audi Q7 as the extra seats are needed, although she has commented that the Touareg is a lot easier to manage!

Finally we fitted a Genuine VW Tow Bar, with all of the Genuine electrics which means the dash displays when the bulbs are out on what ever you are towing etc, also it works perfectly and is substantial unlike cheaper aftermarket kits. This is probably £1000 or more to have done at VW. This could be removed if the new buyer prefered, and dont let it put you off thinking the car has done a lot of towing as it hasnt. In the MD's infinite wisdom he decided to buy a caravan, which after using twice (and loosing a load of money when we sold it) he decided it wasnt for him. So the only towing this car has done is negligible , if you are a Caravan person, or you have a trailer etc, the Touareg is a brilliant tow vehicle, he had never towed before and it made it effortless.

We think its fair to say this Touareg is in excellent condition and we doubt any new buyer would be dissapointed.
