Midland VW LTD Terms and Conditions

Warranty on services offered

Midland VW offers a standard 12 month 12,000 mile parts and labour warranty on all work and parts fitted which are supplied by Midland VW LTD.

Midland VW offer no warranty on labour or parts fitted which have been supplied by the customer and not Midland VW LTD.

Some tasks such as Cam Belt replacements carry a 2 year warranty.

Genuine parts which are fitted that have been sourced from Wolverhampton TPS  by ourselves carry a 12 month 12,000 mile labour warranty and a 2 year parts warranty, however in some circumstances the V.A.G group offer a 2 year parts and labour warranty subject to their terms and conditions at a qualifying Main Dealer. You would need to contact Midland VW first in the event of a claim.

Many products that we supply and fit now carry longer part warranties. Some clutches and fly wheels have 2 year warranties, many water pumps have 3 year warranties and lots of other parts have longer warranties. It would be impossible for us to keep track of this so in the event of a failure please contact Midland VW LTD to clarify the part warranty. It may be the case that the 12 month 12000 mile labour warranty has passed but the physical part may still have some remaining warranty. This is at the discretion of Midland VW LTD and we will endeavour to help all of our customers accordingly.

Warranty is non-transferable upon change of ownership unless pre agreed with Midland VW LTD.

Warranty is on a return to base basis. Midland VW LTD is not responsible for any recovery costs occurred.

Midland VW LTD will under no circumstances authourise any 3rd party repairer to carry out any warranty related repair work in relation to any work previously completed by Midland VW LTD. 

Warranty is subject to our approval, negligence or miss use voids any warranty offered or given. Midland VW LTD do not offer any warranty for competition use or time trials.

General

Midland VW LTD will expect payment in full upon collection of any vehicle in for service or parts collected on site. Until that point Midland VW LTD retain full ownership of parts and may refuse to release the vehicle until payment is made in full.

Any vehicles parked at Midland VW LTD are done so at owner's risk. Midland VW LTD will not be responsible for loss or damage to vehicles or property left on our car park or outside on the connecting road. This does not apply to vehicles that are physically in our workshops, or left over night and kept inside our premises and not parked outside.

Midland VW LTD has a duty of care to ensure no damage is done to your vehicle while left at our premises and we endeavour to ensure that expectation is fulfilled at all times.

Midland VW LTD is fully insured.

Prices

Prices shown in our online shop may be subject to vat at 20% this will be indicated where applicable.

Prices shown in our online shop do not include fitting costs or shipping.

Payment

Payment methods accepted are either cash or card.

We accept most major cards with the exception of American Express.

In some instances we may accept payment by bank tranfer providing funds are allowed to clear before collection or delivery of parts or collection of vehicle after services provided. 

For card payments we will need the full card numbers, security codes, dates, and card holders address in full. 

WE DO NOT ACCEPT CHEQUES

Our Right to Cancel

If for reasons out of our control, aswell as an inability or break down on part of the supplier or manufacturer of items supplied to us, or for some other reason we cannot complete the supply of items to you, we reserve the right to cancel any agreement prior to the goods being delivered by giving notice to you.

In the unlikely event we will offer a full refundin relation to agreement.

Midland VW LTD will not be liable for any loss or damage as a result of this cancellation.

Delivery and Dispatch

Week day time cut off for same day dispatch is 14.00 GMT/BST subject to stock.

Retuns Procedure

Subject to our terms and conditions. 

We require notice by phone or email within 7 days of original delivery for any item retuned for credit or exchange. 

Please include a copy of your invoice with any return.

Any item sent back without prior notification will not recieve any refund.

Other terms and conditions

Special order items cannot be returned for refund unless found to be defective. 

Parts returned after 7 days of delivery date will be subject to a restocking fee of at least 25%.

Return of any item supplied is not possible after 28 days. 

Midland VW LTD offer no compensation with regards to labour charges occurred in relation to any item purchased and returned.

Some items may be subject to surcharges which can only be re imbursted after acceptance of exchange part with Midland VW LTD or our supplier. 

Some items may not be satisfactory for service exchange and we reserve the right to refuse in such circumstances. 

Any painted item is to be trail fitted BEFORE any painting commences.

We will not accept any return items which have been modified or painted in any way. 

Items returned must be in re saleable condition. We expect packaging to be intact and in good order, we will not accept any part for return which has been fitted or tested in any way. Any soiling or indication of use will result in the refusal of your return.
